Xium (pronounced X-ium) Wireless was founded in June 2002 to provide products and services to the wireless industry. Xium's management team has an extensive background working with intelligent networks and wireless services.   Its products have been developed as a direct result of discussions with wireless carriers, industry experts and individual subscribers.   In addition, Xium's management team has established many international roaming relationships and understands the complexities of the international wireless market.

Xium's corporate offices are located at 1060 Pinellas Bayway, Suite 306, Tierra Verde, Florida.  The Xium data center is located nearby in a secured "carrier-grade" facility in order to gain quick dependable access to the SS7 network.  In addition to the fully redundant fault tolerant point-of-presence (PoP) in Tampa, a second PoP, which will be a duplicate of Tampa, will be built in an alternate location before the mid-2006. This secondary PoP will load share with the PoP in Tampa for both domestic and international customers
